SSI Beach Trip

We set out last week for a week in St. Simons Island. It was great!! What wouldn't be great about a week at the beach?! I love it. We went to the Turtle Center in Jeklyll, played for hours at the beach and the pool, had great food, made fun memories and enjoyed being together as a family. Dad, Catherine and I have not been on a vacation together since we were teenagers. We had planned to go the summer Mom died, but her leg was bothering her. It was great to be together as a family. Thanks Dad and Betty for such a fun week!!

Will after his first day at the beach. Once I realized I should leave his sandals on because he hates the sand on his feet, he ran all over the beach. He fought this late afternoon nap, but this is how I found him after 5 minutes. Too cute!!
