From the mouth of a three year old.

Trying to explain a new baby to a three year old can be difficult, but amusing. Molly's first reaction to baby Will was, "I don't want a boy, I want a girl." What do you say to that? For awhile she would tell people that her mommy is having two babies, a girl for her and a boy for mommy and daddy. Recently mommy "needed" some ice cream. Molly asked me why, and I responded with "baby Will is hungry". Molly then explained how the baby gets food while in my tummy. She said he puts his head back and opens his mouth and it falls in (like a bird). We laughed so hard. Great thinking for a three year old. I am sure there will be more funny stories to come!
